Spa relaxation area looking out to the pool

FAQs

A place to get your questions answered!

Q: Is the pool heated?
A: Yes – the pool is heated all year round to between 24-26 degrees. Although it can feel a little fresh to start with, it’s a perfect temperature for swimming.

Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Our packages are not suitable for anyone under the age of 18

Q: How far ahead should I book a package?
A: For any packages or spa treatments we suggest allowing 2-3 weeks. In the hotter months we suggest 1 month. (please bear in mind this is a rough guideline!)

Q:  Do you accept large groups in the spa?
A: Due to the size of our facilities the maximum we can accommodate for a swim and eat package is 6. If you are a group of 6+ you will need to be booked onto a spa package which would include a massage treatment.

Q: Can I make a provisional booking or do I pay in full?
A: Unfortunately we cannot make any provisional bookings, we do require payment in full or a gift voucher code to confirm a booking.

Q: What’s your refund policy?
A: To cancel or move a booking we require at least 24 hours notice to entitle you to a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of your booking cannot be refunded.

Q: If I book a massage treatment does this entitle me to spa entry?
A: If you book just a massage treatment this does not include use of our spa, you will need to book onto a spa package to combine the two.

Q:  What do I wear for my massage?
A: We suggest wearing just pants/briefs to feel the most comfortable, your modesty is covered at all times!

Q: Do I have to decide which massage treatment I’m having in advance?
A: We need to know which massage you want before the day, ideally at the time you make your booking. Not all our therapists offer the same treatments so if we get fully booked at your chosen time it slims down the chance of us being able to guarantee the one you want so please select when you book to avoid disappointment!

Q: How long does a massage treatment last for?
A: All treatments last for an hour

Q: Can I use the spa and have a treatment if I’m pregnant?
A: Yes! We offer a ‘Pregnancy Back and Leg’ treatment for anyone past their first trimester (we are not able to offer massage before the end of the first trimester.) Please seek advice from your GP with regards to use of the saunas and hot tub.

Q: How do I make a booking?
A: You can either book online or call us. To book in we will need the names of everyone attending, a few contact details, the package you would like to book and either your Gift Voucher code or card details for payment (if booking a spa day it is handy to have an idea of the time you would like your treatment and what treatment you would like.)

Q: Do I have to buy a voucher before I book in?
A: No, we sell Gift Vouchers to be bought as presents but if you simply want to book yourself in just call or book online.

Q: Can I use my Gift Vouchers at Bristol Lido?
A: Unfortunately vouchers for Thames Lido are not transferable to Bristol Lido.

Q: Do you supply towels, robes and flip flops?

A: If you are having a massage you will be provided with a robe and towel, guest swim and swim & eat packages do not include towels and robes, although they can be hired. We do not supply any footwear and suggest you bring your own flip flops/sliders.
