Parking

We have very limited parking at Thames Lido and therefore encourage all guests to use public transport, walk or cycle where possible. For cyclist we have a secure bike shed located just outside the spa reception. Reading railway station is less than 5 minutes walk from the Lido.

We have a small car park which is now managed by Park & Control using Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR). All Thames Lido patrons can claim 3 hours free parking, please make sure you enter your car registration on the pay machine inside the building before you leave. If you stay over the 3 hours, you will need to pay £6 for stays between 3-6 hours. Parking spaces cannot be reserved. Please note our car park has a height restriction on 2.05m.

Alternatively, there is a council run car park adjacent to the Thames Lido car park on Napier Road and if that is full, 4 minutes walk from the Lido over Reading Bridge, there is another council run car park, Hills Meadow, with 298 spaces.
